Biography

Amanda Koire, M.D., Ph.D., is an Attending Psychiatrist in the Division of Women’s Mental Health and Reproductive Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and a research scientist with the Community-Based Maternal Mental Health Program at the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

She completed her M.D. and Ph.D. at Baylor College of Medicine and her adult psychiatry residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she served as Academic Chief Resident. In 2021, she co-founded the National Reproductive Psychiatry Trainee Interest Group (www.repropsychtrainees.com). Her award-winning research focuses on maternal mental health service delivery and educational interventions in reproductive psychiatry.
