For the management of fatigue associated with cancer or its treatment, consider stimulants to help restore quality of life and functioning.
Some cancer treatments, such as steroids and chemotherapy, can induce depression in patients. Consider using antidepressants to manage symptoms during those periods. If an antidepressant is indicated, gauging the patient's receptiveness and providing psychoeducation is helpful.
