Biography

Wegdan Rashad, M.D., is a psychiatrist with a passion for education who believes that learning can be engaging and practical, even in a complex field such as psychopharmacology. She is the host of the Expert Consultations interview series at the Psychopharmacology Institute. During her medical training, she was actively involved in teaching, mentoring, and public speaking. She was featured in a TEDMED talk in 2012 and appeared on an episode of the American Journal of Psychiatry Residents’ Podcast in 2016. Wegdan is also an active member of the medical storyboarding team. She particularly enjoys the creative aspects of her work, as well as collaborating with faculty.
