Biography

Dr. Sandra Jacobson is Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry with added qualifications in Geriatric Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine, and Clinical Neurophysiology, and Diplomate of the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties in Neuropsychiatry/Behavioral Neurology. She has more than 20 years of experience in geriatric psychiatry and consultation/liaison psychiatry at teaching hospitals, including Tufts New England Medical Center and The Miriam Hospital at Brown Alpert Medical School.

Dr. Jacobson is author of more than 50 original, peer-reviewed research publications in various aspects of neuropsychiatry. She is also author of a number of books on geriatric psychopharmacology and clinical laboratory medicine, including the following the Clinical Manual of Geriatric Psychopharmacology and Clinical Laboratory Medicine for Mental Health Professionals.
