Biography
Dr. Jessica Díaz is a bilingual psychiatrist originally from Venezuela who now lives in Mendoza, Argentina. She specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy and in pregnancy and women’s mental health, and has worked in these areas for many years.
In her home country, she served as an ad honorem professor for psychiatry residents at a local university, teaching cognitive-behavioral therapy. She also worked as a consultant for colleagues and residents on pregnancy and women’s mental health.
In 2002, she developed a deeper interest in psychopharmacology when she was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Venezuelan College of Neuropsychopharmacology, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing psychopharmacology knowledge with mental health clinicians through congresses, books, and journals.
She remains committed to making psychopharmacology information accessible to busy clinicians in a clear and practical way. Her detail-oriented work with colleagues helps ensure the delivery of accurate, up-to-date knowledge that clinicians can rely on.
