Biography

Dr. Amelia Villagomez attended medical school at Texas A&M University, completing her training in general psychiatry at Yale. She did a fellowship in child/adolescent psychiatry at Harvard and a fellowship in integrative medicine at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. After completing her fellowships, she served as medical director of the outpatient child/adolescent psychiatry clinic at the University of Arizona. She then practiced child/adolescent psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada.

Dr. Villagomez has a private practice in Fort Worth, Texas and is a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the University of Arizona, where she trains residents, fellows, and faculty in integrative psychiatry.
