Welcome everyone. My name is Dr. Martha Sajatovic. I am a professor of Psychiatry and of Neurology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and University Hospitals of Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio. The talk I’m going to give today is entitled Psychotropic Drug Adherence. The objectives of our talk are as follows. So, you, our participants, will gain familiarity with definitions and patterns of treatment adherence, risk factors for poor adherence and learn about adherence evaluation. Participants will also learn about assessments that may help identify reasons for poor adherence. And lastly, participants will learn about approaches that may enhance treatment adherence.
